■ Exhaust system tuning is not just about reducing resistance.
In tuning the exhaust system, if you just want to reduce the exhaust resistance, increasing the diameter of the muffler or exhausting directly from the exhaust port will improve the performance most.However, if you exhaust directly from the exhaust port, the performance will drop.This is because if the exhaust gas is simply pushed out by the piston in the exhaust process, the exhaust gas in the combustion chamber is not completely discharged, and the combustion chamber cannot be filled with the air-fuel mixture in the next intake process.In other words, the performance of the engine cannot be fully exhibited.

■ The key to increasing output is the negative pressure wave = "sucking out" power.
In order to efficiently discharge the exhaust gas from the combustion chamber, it is important not only to push it out by the piston but also to actively "suck it out".
Exhaust gas flows in the order of exhaust manifold (turbine → front pipe in the case of turbo car) → middle pipe → muffler, but the “negative pressure wave” generated in the process becomes the source of the suction force.
The "negative pressure wave" is the pressure generated by the volume change when the exhaust gas reaches a point where the volume expands, such as an expansion pipe, and goes in the opposite direction to the muffler outlet.Then, when the "negative pressure wave" reaches the exhaust port, it loses its place and reverses toward the muffler outlet to become a "negative pressure reversal wave".This "negative pressure reversal wave" becomes the "sucking force" and sucks out the gas remaining in the combustion chamber.As a result, more air-fuel mixture is filled in the combustion chamber in the next intake stroke, and the output is increased.

■ Built-in chamber.Middle pipe that enhances the suction effect.
Our "Exhaust Chamber Kit" enhances the suction effect by installing a chamber (expansion tube) in the middle of the middle pipe.The key to the setting is the layout of the chamber, which is the point where negative pressure waves are generated.This is because the effective rotation range changes and the output characteristics change depending on the distance from the exhaust port to the chamber.In other words, depending on the location of the chamber, there are differences in characteristics such as high rotation type or low rotation type.Needless to say, our aim is street vest.The layout is designed to improve the accelerator response in the normal range.Furthermore, the exhaust efficiency will be improved by examining the chamber diameter and the like.By the way, since mass-produced products such as catalyzer (catalyst) are used, there is no increase in exhaust volume.It is possible to install the parts individually, but we recommend using them together with the AutoExe muffler.

1. When the exhaust gas discharged from the exhaust port reaches the divergent cone (open part) of the chamber, the pipe diameter (volume) rapidly expands and a negative pressure wave is generated.

2. The negative pressure wave goes back to the exhaust port side and reaches the exhaust port.

3. When the negative pressure wave reaches the exhaust port, it becomes a negative pressure reversal wave, and a "suction effect" (pulsation effect) occurs.As a result, the exhaust efficiency is improved.
