To everyone who has a sports brake line (RX-XNUMX / NC Roadster) (request for inspection).

It has been found that in vehicles equipped with our products "Sports Brake Line" and "Sports Stabilizer Front" at the same time, there is a possibility that both will interfere at the time of full bump.In the worst case, the brake hose will crack due to continued interference.You may not be able to brake the brakes.
Therefore, we apologize for the inconvenience caused to customers who have installed the product, but please check the installation status as soon as possible.

XNUMX. XNUMX.background
・ In mid-March XNUMX, the vehicle equipped with our sports stabilizer and sports brake line at the same time was on the left front wheel side.There was a report that the brake line was damaged.
・ The vehicle was found to be damaged during circuit driving with a suspension (coil drive) made by another company.
・ In the case of a vehicle equipped with a suspension (coil drive) made by another company, it is difficult to identify the cause due to the difference in the set vehicle height and product specifications, and there is no past case of occurrence in the combination of our products, so it is unique. I decided it was a problem.
(In this case, the lower the vehicle height, the more likely it is to occur in a full bump state.)
・ However, since the damaged part is a safety part (brake part), we confirmed it with our demo car.As a result, although the clearance is secured, it was found that there is a possibility of interference depending on the individual difference of the vehicle, and this time the defect information was posted.

XNUMX. XNUMX.Cause
Due to the shape of the link mounting part of the sports stabilizer and the handling of the sports brake line, the distance between the two parts is closer than in the normal state.

XNUMX. XNUMX.Vehicle to be inspected
The following vehicles equipped with "Sports Brake Line" and "Sports Stabilizer" at the same time are eligible.

XNUMX.Correspondence to the product body
In order to secure more clearance when installing both parts, the following measures have been taken from the shipment in April.

・ Sports stabilizer front (for both RX-8 / Roadster (NC))
As shown in the figure below, the specifications have been changed to ensure clearance with the brake line by changing the shape of the stabilizer link mounting part (the part inside the blue circle).

<Before measures>
The shape near the stabilizer link mounting part also bulges on the brake line side.

<After measures>
The shape near the stabilizer link mounting part has been changed to ensure clearance with the brake line. (Compared to the product before countermeasures, the shape is such that the yellow part is cut off.)

・ Sports brake line
The shape of the metal fittings on the front upper arm mounting part has been revised, and the handling of the brake line has been changed.
The specifications have been changed to ensure more clearance with the stabilizer.

<Before measures>
The brake line hangs down toward the stabilizer.

<After measures>
By changing the shape of the upper arm mounting bracket (blue circle), clearance with the stabilizer has been secured.
