・ In mid-October 2010, there was a report that the front left upper mount of a vehicle equipped with our sports suspension kit was damaged.
・ The vehicle was found overseas (Taiwan), and was judged to be a unique case due to differences in vehicle specifications and road surface conditions that differ from those in Japan.
・ However, a similar problem has recently occurred in vehicles used in Japan.When we checked the actual vehicle, it was found that there was a problem with the adhesion between the rubber and the metal plate of the upper mount rubber part of his mount.
Since multiple troubles have occurred in this way, we have decided that it is indispensable to replace all of them with countermeasure upper mounts, and we have posted this defect information.
Initially, it was planned to replace the mount rubber part for countermeasures, but even if severe conditions such as individual differences in suspension geometry changes and variations in the adhesive strength of the mount rubber are met, more sufficient safety can be ensured. 1. In the process of expanding and contracting the shock, peeling of the poorly adhered part of the mount rubber occurs.
2. With continuous running, the peeling progresses further and the amount of deflection of the B part increases, and the bush inner holding part (A part) of the lower case interferes with the inner inclined part (B part) of the bush.
3. Further, the extension load was continuously applied, and the interference between the A part and the B part repeatedly occurred, so that the rubber part cracked and the rubber part and the metal plate part were separated.
4. Finally, the metal plate and the case directly interfere with each other, and the lower case (aluminum part) is damaged.
