To be honest, I didn't think it would change this much.
The agility of the front end that I noticed when I first drove the CX30 was almost too agility for me; it felt a little unsettling, and that bothered me when driving at high speeds.
But when I switched to this steering wheel, it suddenly became much more stable, solid, and drove smoothly. And yet, when I turned the steering wheel millimeter by millimeter, the car moved millimeter by millimeter. It felt like the sense of control had doubled.
But that's not all. You can feel the road surface conditions and even slight engine vibrations through the steering wheel. This allows for more precise steering control. As a result, you can clearly understand the appropriate timing for shifting gears in various driving situations.
I can now have a deeper conversation with my car.
In proportion to that, my own carelessness began to show in the car's behavior.
I'm looking forward to the days ahead, when I can have a more careful and thoughtful conversation with my car, while maintaining a healthy sense of anticipation.
