The remaining thickness of the original pads was still sufficient, but I was envious of the reputation of the Brembo pads available on higher grade models, so I replaced them with Autoexe sports pads to see how close I could get.
Contrary to my expectations, it worked well from the beginning. At first, I thought it might be difficult to control, but after about a month I got used to the product and my senses, and now I'm very happy with the effectiveness and controllability.
I admire the look of Brembo calipers, but if cost and performance are important, I don't think it's necessary to go all the way to Brembo, as they would add weight.
