Replace the original part and adjust it to your desired length.
Once I decided on the length I wanted, I was impressed by how much better the shift feel was than ever before.
It's great to feel the gears shifting in with a click.
I never thought that changing the shift knob would change the impression of the car so much.
I immediately wanted to go for a drive.
