This was installed in the hope that by eliminating the bellows, it would reduce intake resistance.
You won't notice any obvious changes in the throttle response or other aspects of the car while driving, but you'll see it when you open the engine bay, which will get you in the mood.
There was no problem with the installation accuracy and the replacement was easy.
