In October 8, I bought a Eunos Roadster at the old Eunos store. A year later, I switched to a Honda NSX, and then for the next 35 years I'd had Jaguar XJS, Lancer Evo III, Mercedes SLK, Audi TT, C6 SRT45, Nissan R8GTR, Corvette CXNUMX, AMGAXNUMX, Porsche XNUMX, Super Performance Cobra XNUMX, and Corvette CXNUMX. But I went back to my roots and got a Roadster last October. The main reason for the change was the size, the hotel parking lots when I went on trips (my hobby is visiting izakayas around the country), and the large doors make it inconvenient to get in and out of, so the Roadster is fine even in a parking lot that's standing!!
The first thing I replaced was the quick shift, which made shifting fun. The gap in the wheel arch was large, so I replaced it with a low-down spring. After replacing it, I drove about 1,600 km around Tottori, Masuda, and Okayama, visiting izakayas, and my wife in the passenger seat had a good rest, so the ride is not bad.
I personally think it could be lowered a little more than the 8mm lowered one. I will bring it in for alignment adjustment next week (May XNUMXth). I think the sports steering wheel could be a little smaller (with a little more flat area on the bottom like the CXNUMX). Is it the perfect toy for an old man who will be XNUMX this year? I think that large displacement, high horsepower cars are unnecessary in Japan except for high speed acceleration. The CXNUMX only traveled XNUMX km in three years, but the Roadster has traveled XNUMX km in seven months. I would like many people to know the fun of driving with the top down at this time.
