The car's class has gone up a notch.
● Mounting parts: Motion control beam
A motion control beam has been introduced to reduce the resonance before the bulkhead that was a concern with earlier Kodo generations.
The body rigidity itself is sufficient in the standard version, but we wanted to reduce the vibration caused by the length from the bulkhead to the strut tower.
I am very satisfied with the result. It achieved the desired effect perfectly, and by suppressing minute resonances caused by input from the road surface, it feels like the car has been upgraded.
I was also surprised and convinced to find that it also had the effect of absorbing the vibrations that occur when starting the engine, which had increased over time.
Although it doesn't directly affect speed, I felt that it was a very cost-effective product that allowed me to feel the effects even before I started running.
