● Mounting parts: Sports damper

The replacement was made after 10800km of driving from the time of purchase. The suspension of the CX-5 after the minor change seems to have matured, and the ride was very comfortable, but since the previous car was a European sedan, I was concerned about the flapping on rough roads and the rolling feeling in corners, so I decided to replace it with a sports damper tuned to generate damping force from low input.
I didn't want to lower the car so I left the springs as they were.
Immediately after replacing, the tire felt a bit rough, but after driving about 1000km, the roughness disappeared and the ride became as smooth as the original tires.
Even on the rough roads that prompted me to change the suspension, I hardly feel any rattling anymore, and the amount of roll in corners feels the same as with the original, but there's an increased sense of stability, so I can now turn corners with confidence.
Also, although you can't see the rear unless you look closely, the red dampers that can be seen from the front also add to the sporty appearance and look nice.
However, maybe because the springs are still genuine, the ride quality when going straight is not much different from the genuine ones, so my family doesn't notice at all (laughs).
I don't think there are many people who drive SUVs in a sporty manner, and I think this damper is perfect for those who want to feel the benefits of dampers in certain places while maintaining the original ride feel.
